Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awaas Yojana (PMGAY) was launched in the year 2017. PMGAY was launched with an intention to provide housing for the rural poor living in India.
This scheme also helps to provide financial assistance to the weakest sections of society and thereby improving their standard of living.
